Following AC Milan`s surprising 2-1 defeat to Cremonese in the opening Serie A match of the 2025-26 season, club director Igli Tare had a busy morning, meeting with the agents of Massimiliano Allegri and Conrad Harder at the club`s headquarters.
Transfer Discussions Intensify
According to Sky Sport, the meeting with Allegri focused on discussing upcoming transfer strategies. The club remains keenly interested in acquiring a new center-forward. However, medical tests for Nigerian player Victor Boniface raised concerns about his fitness, leading to his temporary return to Germany. This development doesn`t completely rule out the deal, but Milan is taking time to make a final decision regarding his potential signing.

It was no coincidence that Tare also held talks with representatives of Sporting CP striker Conrad Harder on the same day. The Rossoneri director is reportedly continuing discussions regarding the potential transfer of the talented Danish footballer.

Striker Search Continues
As per Gazzetta, Milan is actively considering the possibility of signing both Boniface and Harder, or another central striker, in the final days of the summer transfer window, aiming to bolster their attacking options.
