According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Italian club AC Milan is showing interest in signing Breel Embolo, the Swiss international striker currently playing for AS Monaco.
Earlier in the month, transfer market analyst Fabrizio Romano had already suggested that the forward`s name was among those proposed to the Rossoneri management.
It now appears that Milan is prepared to take their interest further and explore the possibility of completing a transfer deal.
Embolo as a Potentially Affordable Striker Option for Milan

The transfer fee for Embolo is not expected to be excessively high. His current contract with AS Monaco is set to expire in June 2026, meaning the upcoming transfer window represents the club`s final realistic chance to sell him for a fee rather than losing him on a free transfer later.
Monaco signed Embolo from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2022 for a reported fee of €12.5 million. Prior to that move, he had played for FC Basel and Schalke 04.
The 28-year-old boasts significant international experience, having earned 77 senior caps for Switzerland and scored 18 goals for his national team.
In the previous season, Embolo participated in 42 competitive matches for Monaco, contributing with seven goals and providing nine assists.
His physical presence and speed are qualities that align well with the profile of striker that AC Milan is reportedly searching for.
It is also possible that Milan could look to sign more than one central forward, as they reportedly maintain an interest in Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.
