AC Milan is continuing its pursuit of a new centre-forward, with Victor Boniface reportedly emerging as their top choice. However, Bayer Leverkusen has placed a significant valuation on the player, which could be a hurdle. The club is also considering other options, including Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and Tolu Arokodare of Genk.
Milan`s efforts to strengthen their attack have seen initial inquiries made for players like Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic and Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca, but these preliminary approaches do not appear to have progressed significantly.
According to reports, director of sport Igli Tare particularly favors Boniface. The 24-year-old Nigerian international is under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until June 2028, and the German club is anticipated to demand a high transfer fee. Last season, Boniface scored 11 goals across 27 competitive matches, although his campaign was impacted by a serious muscular injury sustained in November 2024.

In addition to Boniface, Milan has made inquiries about Jackson, who is widely expected to depart Chelsea this summer.

Furthermore, an intermediary has reportedly presented Tolu Arokodare, another Nigerian international currently owned by Genk, as a potential acquisition for both Milan and Napoli during the upcoming transfer window.
