AC Milan is diligently working to strengthen its squad with new additions before the summer transfer window concludes. Reports emerging on Sunday indicate that the Rossoneri are set to engage in another round of discussions with Adrien Rabiot`s mother and agent, Veronique, later today.
Milan Eyes Rabiot for Midfield Reinforcement
The Rossoneri`s midfield is poised for a significant reshuffle this summer. New signing Ardon Jashari faces an estimated eight-week recovery period due to a fractured fibula. This injury had initially paused the transfer of Yunus Musah to Atalanta. While Musah`s move is now reportedly back on track, its completion would leave Milan`s midfield with a shortage of players.
Adrien Rabiot has consistently been identified as the preferred choice by coach Massimiliano Allegri, a fact reported earlier in the week.

Following the news of Jashari`s injury, Allegri, alongside Milan directors Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani, held discussions to evaluate their available options. Their stance remains clear: Rabiot is Allegri`s priority target.
The former Juventus midfielder is currently available for transfer after an incident involving an altercation with former teammate Jonathan Rowe, who has since joined Bologna. Both players were subsequently informed that they were no longer considered part of the club’s future plans.

Milan is now making a concentrated effort to bring Rabiot back to Serie A. It is understood that his current club, Marseille, is seeking a transfer fee in the region of €15 million.
Rabiot reportedly commands a salary of approximately €5 million per season in his current Ligue 1 contract. Sunday’s reports suggest that his agent will pursue a similar financial arrangement during the upcoming negotiations with Milan.
