Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly submitted a second, improved offer for Strasbourg`s 22-year-old right-back, Guéla Doué. According to French newspaper L`Equipe, the Italian club`s new bid is worth €18 million, a step up from their initial offer of €15 million. Doué is the older brother of Désiré Doué.
However, L`Equipe suggests that a significant gap still exists between Strasbourg`s valuation of the young Ivorian international defender and Milan`s proposal. The Alsatian club is reportedly set to decline Milan`s €18m bid. Strasbourg highly values Doué due to his experience within their relatively youthful squad in Ligue 1.
