AC Milan is reportedly preparing a second offer for RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Guela Doué (22).
The 22-year-old right-back, older brother of Désiré Doué, has been a target for the Serie A club this summer as they look to reinforce the position. This comes as the club reportedly seeks a replacement after Kyle Walker (35) returned to the Premier League with Burnley FC (as stated in the source text).
Previous reports indicated Milan had made a €15 million offer for the defender, who is reportedly highly regarded by their new head coach (Massimiliano Allegri, as stated in the source text). However, Strasbourg rejected this initial bid for the player, whose contract runs until 2029.
Milan is expected to submit an improved offer, potentially within the coming days.
A potential obstacle in the transfer is Chelsea FC’s close relationship with Strasbourg. As sister clubs under the same ownership, Chelsea is also said to be interested in Doué, positioning them as strong contenders for his signature.
