AC Milan Set Modric Medical Date, Assess Saudi Offers for Bennacer & Adli

Football & Cricket

As the date for Luka Modric`s medical examinations is set, AC Milan is actively working on potential transfers for midfielders Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli to clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Modric had previously agreed to join the Rossoneri on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Real Madrid, contingent upon fulfilling his commitments in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Following Real Madrid`s exit from the tournament, anticipation grew for his arrival for medical checks and contract signing.

Several sources have now confirmed that this is scheduled to occur on Monday, July 14th.

Simultaneously, Milan aims to reduce the size of their current midfield roster, which is considered excessive, particularly after the signing of Samuele Ricci from Torino.

Last season, both Bennacer and Adli were on loan spells with purchase options that their temporary clubs, namely Olympique Marseille and Fiorentina, chose not to exercise.

Consequently, the club is now seeking new clubs for them. According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, both players have received offers from the Saudi Pro League.

It is currently uncertain if one or both players will agree to these moves, especially considering Adli is also a target for Bologna.
