AC Milan has reportedly identified Liverpool forward Darwin Nuñez as their primary target to bolster their offensive line, according to claims from Italy.
Reports from Sky Sports indicate that Milan has initiated discussions with the Uruguayan international. The Rossoneri are reportedly keen on securing a high-caliber striker to provide their new head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, with a top-tier attacking option.

While Arnaud Kalimuendo, Dusan Vlahovic, and Rasmus Hojlund are mentioned as alternative options, Nuñez reportedly remains Milan`s top priority for a new forward.

However, Milan is not alone in their pursuit of the Uruguayan forward. Sky also reports that Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal has expressed interest in Nuñez, though no formal offer has been made yet.
A team managed by Simone Inzaghi has reportedly already influenced Milan`s transfer activity this summer, having acquired French full-back Theo Hernandez from the Serie A club earlier in the transfer window.

Last season, Nuñez recorded five goals and two assists across 30 Premier League appearances. With Liverpool having already secured Hugo Ekitike and reportedly pursuing Newcastle`s Alexander Isak, the Reds are seemingly open to considering bids for their former Benfica striker.
