AC Milan is reportedly on the verge of acquiring Victor Boniface from German champions Bayer Leverkusen. The Italian club has officially submitted a formal offer for the Nigerian international forward, which is currently being reviewed by the Bundesliga side.
According to Sky Sport reporter Patrick Berger, Boniface is nearing a move to Milan. This information has been further corroborated by Gianluca Di Marzio, a transfer expert for Sky Sport Italia. Berger also noted that Boniface has already reached a personal terms agreement with the Serie A giants and is awaiting the green light from Bayer Leverkusen to finalize his transfer to the Rossoneri.
Milan`s Stance on Other Targets

The renewed interest in Boniface comes as negotiations for Manchester United`s Rasmus Hojlund have proven more complex. Gazzetta reports that Hojlund desires a permanent transfer, which complicates Milan`s pursuit. Despite this, Milan continues discussions with Hojlund`s representatives, having even sent an intermediary to London to engage with the striker`s father.

However, if Milan is unable to finalize a deal for the former Atalanta player, the pathway to signing Boniface appears significantly more feasible, making him a primary alternative for the club`s attacking reinforcement.
