French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly seeking a return to Juventus, having recently engaged in discussions with former teammate Giorgio Chiellini following a contentious departure from Olympique Marseille. However, Juventus`s primary transfer target appears to be Matt O’Riley from Brighton.
Sources confirm that Rabiot, the French international, reached out to Chiellini, now a director at the Turin club, to propose his availability.
While Juventus is considering Rabiot`s offer, their current focus, led by sporting director Damien Comolli, is on securing Brighton & Hove Albion`s midfielder O’Riley. He is seen as the ideal successor once Douglas Luiz`s transfer to Nottingham Forest is finalized.
Rabiot`s Turin Connection

Rabiot previously spent five seasons in Turin, where he made 212 appearances for the Bianconeri, contributing 22 goals and 16 assists.
His initial departure from Juventus in 2024 was as a free agent, after his contract expired. However, his recent tenure at Olympique Marseille has quickly soured.
This week, he was officially listed for transfer following an alleged violent altercation with teammate Jonathan Rowe in the locker room.
Despite the recent controversies, Rabiot, at 30 years old, is still considered a highly capable player, a fact underscored by his performance for Marseille last season.
