AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has provided an update on Christian Pulisic`s condition, confirming that despite not being in peak form, the American winger is deemed fit to start in the upcoming Serie A encounter against Napoli. This pivotal match will also mark the return of star forward Rafael Leao, who will be available on the bench after a six-week injury layoff.
The highly anticipated game is set to kick off at San Siro at 19:45 UK time (18:45 GMT).
The Rossoneri are currently in exceptional form, having achieved four consecutive victories across both Serie A and the Coppa Italia. During this impressive run, they have found the net nine times without conceding a single goal.
Rafael Leao`s presence on the bench will be his first appearance since Milan`s Coppa Italia triumph over Bari on August 17th. His return means that Ardon Jashari is now the sole player remaining on the injury list.
Allegri`s Insights on Pulisic`s Readiness

Speaking to DAZN Italia, Allegri confirmed Pulisic’s inclusion in the starting XI:
“Pulisic wasn’t in great shape, but he was alright in this morning’s warm-up, so he will start.”

Allegri underscored the importance of the upcoming fixture:
“This is a very important test for us, to see how we will interpret the match against a Napoli side that won the Scudetto last season.”
He concluded by expressing his optimism for the evening:
“It’s a great evening of sport in this marvellous stadium, which will be packed out, so we hope to bring home a good result.”
