Various reports indicate that Paulo Dybala rejoined his teammates for training today, providing AS Roma with a significant confidence boost regarding his availability for Sunday`s Serie A match against Fiorentina.
While Dybala is expected to be included in the squad for the upcoming fixture, it is considered unlikely that he will feature in the starting lineup as he gradually eases back into action.
Dybala`s Return for Fiorentina Match

“La Joya,” as Dybala is affectionately known, has been sidelined for the past four games across all competitions due to a hamstring injury. However, according to Sky, Gasperini (the coach mentioned in the original report) plans to include him in the Giallorossi’s traveling squad this weekend. Roma will be looking to rebound after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the Europa League against Lille.
Prior to his injury layoff, Dybala had made three appearances for the club this season across all competitions.
Roma`s Striker Woes: Ferguson and Dovbyk`s Inconsistent Form

Dybala`s return will undoubtedly strengthen Gasperini`s offensive options, especially as the Italian tactician has been grappling with the inconsistent performances of forwards Evan Ferguson and Artem Dovbyk.
Ferguson has yet to open his scoring account in a competitive match for Roma this season. Meanwhile, Dovbyk has managed to score once but notably missed two penalty kicks against Lille just last night, underscoring the team`s ongoing struggles in front of goal.
