Following West Ham United`s reported imminent acquisition of El Hadji Malick Diouf, a player previously eyed by Atalanta, the Italian club is reportedly shifting its focus back to Juventus` marginalized midfielder, Filip Kostic.
Sources like TuttoAtalanta indicate that Atalanta is still searching for a new left-back following the transfer of Matteo Ruggeri to Atletico Madrid. Although Slavia Prague`s left-back Diouf was identified as a potential replacement, reports from England now suggest that West Ham is nearing a deal for the player, valued at a total package of £27 million.

With Diouf Likely Headed to West Ham, Atalanta Revives Interest in Juventus` Kostic
Having apparently missed out on securing the services of the Senegalese international, Atalanta is now reportedly revisiting their interest in the versatile Serbian player from Juventus.

The 32-year-old midfielder spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Turkish club Fenerbahce before returning to the Bianconeri this summer. He participated in two matches for Igor Tudor`s team during the Club World Cup but is reportedly considered available for transfer as Juventus aims to restructure their squad for the upcoming season.
