Aubameyang Confirms Marseille Comeback with Two-Year Agreement

Football & Cricket

Reports indicate that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, aged 36, has reached an agreement to rejoin Marseille. The former Arsenal attacker, who recently became a free agent following the termination of his contract with Al-Qadisah, is set to sign a two-year deal with Olympique Marseille, extending until 2027.

Despite significant interest from various clubs, including several from the Premier League, Aubameyang reportedly prioritized a move back to Ligue 1 and the South of France, specifically to rejoin Les Olympiens.

Rejected Saudi Interest

Although other clubs reportedly showed interest in the Gabonese international, Al Ettifaq from the Saudi Pro League made a concrete offer to keep him in the Gulf region. However, Aubameyang`s preference was to return to Europe. He is now expected to undergo a medical examination to finalize his transfer back to the Stade Vélodrome.
