Azam Khan is struggling; Pakistan’s batting coach supports him.Following Pakistan’s two straight defeats against New Zealand, coaching staff member Adam Hollioake expressed his faith in 25-year-old Azam Khan’s skills. At the post-match conference following the second T20I, Hollioake lauded Khan as a destructive batter, despite the fact that Khan had returned with scores of 10 and 2 in the two matches.

Faced with a potent bowling attack from the Kiwis, the side only had three batsman reach double figures. Hollioake made hints about possible roster changes for the team depending on pitch circumstances and tactical considerations as the series went on.
Looking ahead, Pakistan wants to get back together and make a statement on January 17 at University Oval in Dunedin in the third Twenty20 International.
