Babar said during the press conference, “We received a great welcome with lots of hospitality, which we weren’t expecting,” in an effort to express his gratitude. Although we have been in Hyderabad for a week, we don’t feel like we are in India; rather, we feel at home, according to Babar.

When talking about the playing conditions, Babar pointed out the similarities between Pakistan’s and India’s, with the only difference being India’s shorter boundaries.

“Up to this point, we’ve played two games, and the conditions in India are comparable to those in Pakistan. The main distinction is that the boundaries are shorter here, allowing batsmen to profit if bowlers veer off course, he said.

Given the intensity and closeness of the championship game, a journalist questioned if both England and New Zealand should have been named joint winners of the 2019 World Cup during the discussion.

With a smile, the Indian captain responded, “Kya yaar, this is not my job to announce winners.”

Jos Buttler asked Babar to translate Rohit’s response in English when Babar joined in the laughs. The event’s joyful atmosphere was enhanced by the explanation that Pakistan’s captain happily gave.

The initial World Cup match between New Zealand and the reigning champions England will take place in Ahmedabad on October 5.
