Babar-Rizwan 82-Runs stand Put Pakistan Ahead of India

12th match of ICC Men’s CWC is underway at Ahmedabad where IND are taiking on PAK in a crunch encounter. Both teams are still unbeaten in the CWC23 with 2 wins each. India have a better NRR than Pakistan as they stand at 2nd while Pakistan stand at 3rd on the Points table of ICC Men’s ODI CWC 2023, INDIA. 

Earlier in the match, Skipper Rohit Sharma invites Pakistan batting line-up to bat first on a very good looking batting track. Jasprit Bumrah and Muhammad Siraj open the bowling for India and Imam and Shafique come out for the batting at Ahmedabad in front of nore than 100,000+ crowd. 

Pakistan start well as the openers provide 41-runs stand and then they add 32 more for the second wicket. Both openers are sent back to the dugout in the 13th over of the game. Rizwan joins Babar for the 3rd wicket partnership in order to carry on the momentum. 

Muhammad Rizwan and Babar Azam add 82-runs stand off 103 for the 3rd wicket and offer upcoming batters a solid platform to post a handsome total up front. Babar Azam after scoring his 29th ODI half-century. He smashes only seven boundaries in his fifty. On the other hand Muhammad Rizwan contributes 47 off 58 with seven 4s too. 

The 82-runs stand for the 3rd wicket is broken by Muhammad Siraj in the 30th over who picks his second of the day. Will Pakistan cash this stand? Let’s findout together.
