Badredine Bouanani, the 20-year-old winger from OGC Nice, is reportedly set to transfer to Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart in a deal valued at €20 million, as reported by L’Equipe. The Algerian international has received permission from Nice, affectionately known as Le Gym, to travel to Germany for a medical examination with Die Schwaben (Stuttgart). Bouanani`s departure marks him as the latest significant player to leave the French club during the current summer transfer window, following the exits of Marcin Bulka, Pablo Rosario, Gaëtan Laborde, and Evann Guessand.
Having joined OGC Nice from Lille OSC in 2022, Bouanani made 70 appearances across all competitions for the Riviera club, contributing five goals and seven assists. His contract with Nice was originally slated to run until 2029. At VfB Stuttgart, he is expected to sign a five-year agreement. Stuttgart`s financial position has been significantly bolstered recently, particularly after the €85 million transfer of Nick Woltemade to Newcastle United. Meanwhile, OGC Nice is scheduled to play an away match against Le Havre on Sunday.
