The management at La Liga giants Barcelona is reportedly eyeing Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso as a potential acquisition for the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is widely anticipated that the Catalan club will seek to strengthen their full-back positions ahead of the next season. With ongoing speculation surrounding the futures of Jules Koundé and Alejandro Balde, and João Cancelo’s continued presence far from assured, coach Hansi Flick’s squad will likely need fresh talent on the flanks.
Deco and Barcelona’s transfer team have already begun compiling a shortlist of prospective targets. This week, Italian transfer journalist Gianluigi Longari revealed one of the names on that list, confirming that Andrea Cambiaso of Juventus is indeed a player Barcelona is monitoring.
The versatile Italian international, capable of playing as a full-back or wing-back on either side, has contributed three goals and four assists in 39 appearances for Juventus across all competitions this season.
