Barcelona prepares for up to five player departures

Barcelona, the reigning La Liga champions, are reportedly preparing for the potential departure of up to five senior players in the coming month. These moves are part of the club’s ongoing efforts to improve their financial standing.

Following the recent confirmed sale of Iñaki Peña to Panathinaikos, the club’s management is understood to be looking at further player exits.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Ansu Fati is expected to be the next player to leave permanently, with a move to AS Monaco anticipated. Marc-André ter Stegen is also nearing an exit, with a season-long loan move to Ajax in the Eredivisie reportedly imminent.

Marc Casadó is also considered a player whose sale is necessary to generate funds. Finally, Roony Bardghji is likely to be sent out on loan temporarily to gain more consistent playing time.
