BCCI Announces List of Stars to Perform before IND vs PAK match in Ahmedabad

BCCI Announces List of Stars to Perform before IND vs PAK match in Ahmedabad. The upcoming Cricket World Cup 2023 match is eagerly anticipated by the fans, especially by those who are fortunate enough to obtain tickets to the thrilling match between India and Pakistan on October 14 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium.

Now that they are aware that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has scheduled a pre-match show before the game, they should be even happier. Because this will be a day-night match in the largest cricket stadium in the world, the game is scheduled to start at 2 pm IST with the toss occurring at 1.30 pm.

Fans will be able to enter the stadium at least four hours before the first ball because the pre-match show starts at 12.30 IST. Therefore, be sure to get at the stadium early if you have match tickets for the India vs. Pakistan game. If you don’t, you’ll miss some of India’s biggest singing talents performing shortly before the game.

Who will perform during the pre-match concert before the IND-Pak match?

Three artists have been invited to play at the pre-match concert on October 14 by BCCI, the organisation said on its X account. They are Shankar Mahadevan, Sukhwinder Singh, and Arijit Singh. The board also let the audience members know that the “Musical Odyssey” will start at 12.30 IST.

Notably, there was no World Cup opening ceremony this year. At the same location on October 5, England and New Zealand played in the tournament opener. The BCCI, however, intended to have a pre-match show before to the thrilling India vs. Pakistan match, thus there was no major opening ceremony scheduled.

Even during India matches during the World Cup, stadiums are hardly crowded with spectators. As fans have previously complained about having difficulties buying tickets, it may be the result of a problem with the ticketing system.

As a result, BCCI distributed thousands extra tickets for the India vs. Pakistan game. The weather is another deterrent for supporters from entering the stadium, particularly during daytime games. Due to the still-high temperatures in both north and south India, many fans choose to arrive only in the evening.

The conflict between India and Pakistan will be an exception since it is the “Mother of All Battles.” Don’t be shocked if you see supporters waiting in queue to get in.
