Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile has confirmed he will remain at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season. The French international shared his commitment with Foot Mercato, stating, “Yes, I`ll still be at Chelsea next season. The club, the coach, and all the staff give me a lot of confidence and believe in me. I will do everything to give back to them on the pitch. I love the club, the city, and the supporters.” The centre-back is 24 years old.
According to reports from Foot Mercato, new Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has also assured Badiashile that he features in his plans for the next campaign. Badiashile made 22 appearances for the Blues last season. Despite rumoured interest from clubs like Marseille, Badiashile is focused on his future with the London club, where he is under contract until 2030.
The former AS Monaco player is expected to be part of the Chelsea squad that will compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
