Turkish sources indicate that Besiktas is finalizing the transfer for the 26-year-old right-back, Emerson Royal.
The former Tottenham defender has found it difficult to make an impact since his €17 million transfer to Milan last summer. After missing most of the latter half of the 2024-25 season, the Brazilian is anticipated to leave San Siro this summer.
Emerson is nearing a personal terms agreement with Besiktas, now managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Should this agreement be reached, his arrival in Istanbul could happen within days.
The proposed transfer structure involves an initial loan, including a fee, with an option for Besiktas to make the move permanent later.
