Besiktas Offers Significant Sum for Reims’ Keito Nakamura

Football & Cricket

Following their relegation to Ligue 2, Stade de Reims has experienced a significant exodus of key players from their squad. Many core members have departed, including Junya Ito, Yehvann Diouf, Amadou Koné, Nhoa Sangui, Mamadou Diakhon, and Thibault De Smet.

Further departures may still be on the horizon. Midfielder Valentin Atangana is reportedly the subject of three separate offers from RC Strasbourg Alsace, while interest in the player has also emerged from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Adding to the list of potential exits, 25-year-old forward Keito Nakamura could soon leave the club. According to reports from L’Équipe, Turkish giants Besiktas have submitted a substantial €15 million transfer bid for the player. While Reims has not yet issued a formal response, this potential sale would represent their most significant transfer income of the summer and a considerable profit on a player they acquired for €12 million just two seasons ago.

Despite Reims` challenging season, Nakamura managed to enhance his personal reputation by netting 11 goals in Ligue 1. He has not featured for “Les Stadistes” in the current season.
