According to reports from France, Italian club Bologna has successfully reached a full agreement for the transfer of Jonathan Rowe, the former England U21 star, from Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille.
The deal is reportedly valued at a total of €19.5 million, including performance-related bonuses. Additionally, Marseille will retain a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Bologna had already ironed out personal terms with the 22-year-old winger.
Rowe`s Move to Bologna Accelerated by Dressing Room Incident with Rabiot

Rowe`s transfer to Bologna comes in the wake of an unfortunate incident in the Marseille dressing room, where he was involved in an altercation with Adrien Rabiot, leading to both players being placed on the transfer list.
Marseille`s sporting director, Mehdi Benatia, confirmed that the two players were involved in a physical confrontation after their 1-0 Ligue 1 defeat to Rennes last weekend, requiring security personnel to intervene and separate them.
Benatia stated unequivocally, “You cannot have people punching each other in the face and security coming to separate you.”

He further explained that both players were given 48 hours to reflect on the situation, but since neither offered an apology, they were subsequently put up for sale.
While there were prior indications that Rowe might become available this month due to Marseille`s recent acquisition of Igor Paixao, the post-Rennes incident significantly expedited the transfer process, potentially proving advantageous for Bologna.
