According to various reports, Bologna is exploring the possibility of signing three players currently not considered key figures at AC Milan: Tommaso Pobega, Yacine Adli, and Noah Okafor.
Sources including La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com suggest this trio could potentially reunite at the Stadio Dall’Ara, playing under the guidance of new coach Vincenzo Italiano.
Pobega spent the previous season on loan at Bologna. His loan agreement included a €12 million option to buy, which Bologna chose not to exercise, reportedly hoping to negotiate a more favourable permanent transfer fee.
This potential move for Pobega could be part of a package deal involving the other two players, as none of the three are seen as central to AC Milan`s future plans.
Adli, another midfielder, was loaned out to Fiorentina. Milan has reportedly informed him that he should look for a new club this summer.
Okafor, a forward, has returned to Milan after a six-month loan spell at Scudetto winners Napoli, where he received very limited playing time.
Turkish clubs Besiktas and Fenerbahce have approached Milan regarding Okafor`s availability. However, their proposals involved a loan with an option to buy, while the Rossoneri are understood to prefer a definitive sale.
