Brighton & Hove Albion winger Facundo Buonanotte, aged 20, has reportedly reached an agreement to transfer to Ligue 1 club Lyon. However, Brighton`s preference is to loan the Argentine international to a fellow Premier League team, aiming to provide him with more experience and toughen him up. Les Gones (Lyon) are actively seeking a right-sided winger following Ernest Nuamah`s season-ending ACL injury in April. While they have secured Adac Karabec from Sparta Prague on loan, he is considered a temporary solution.
Buonanotte is said to be enthusiastic about the move after discussions with Lyon`s head coach, Paulo Fonseca. The young Argentine reportedly views joining Lyon as a crucial progression for his burgeoning career.
