Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis is reportedly on the verge of joining Burnley.
According to initial reports from Gianluigi Longari, negotiations for the 1999-born midfielder have reached a decisive stage, with a move to an English club appearing increasingly likely.
While several other clubs, including Italy`s Roma, had shown interest in Florentino Luis, it is Burnley who are now making the crucial moves to secure his signature.

Florentino Luis: Career Journey
Florentino Luis commenced his football career at Benfica`s youth academy in 2010, at the age of 11. He dedicated eight years to progressing through their youth ranks before making his senior debut for the club in 2019.
In the subsequent two seasons, he made limited appearances and struggled to secure a regular starting spot. This led to two loan spells: first with Monaco in the 2020-21 season, followed by a stint at Getafe the next season.
Upon returning to Benfica after these loan periods, Luis finally established himself as a key player, making almost 200 appearances for the Portuguese side over the last three seasons.
