CBS Sports Broadens Women’s Champions League Coverage with “UEFA Women’s Champions League Today” Studio Show

CBS Sports, the official broadcaster of the UEFA Women`s Champions League, is significantly expanding its coverage as it becomes the exclusive English-language rights holder for the tournament. The 2025-26 season is set to commence on Tuesday, October 7th. All matches will be available for streaming on Paramount+, with selected games also broadcast on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Introducing “UEFA Women`s Champions League Today”

Innovative coverage of women`s soccer on CBS Sports features a new studio program titled “UEFA Women`s Champions League Today.” This show will serve as the centerpiece of the competition`s broadcast, introducing new talent, including former FIFA Women`s World Cup and Super League champions. Host Hannah Cash will steer the studio discussions alongside a panel of analysts boasting top-tier professional experience: Jen Beattie, Janelly Farias, Darian Jenkins, Kelley O`Hara, and Ali Riley.

The “UEFA Women`s Champions League Today” program will offer pre- and post-match studio shows from its Stamford, CT studio, complemented by live reports from Europe throughout the season. Chris Wittyngham will handle play-by-play commentary for matches, working alongside co-analysts Jenkins and Beattie, while Christina Unkel will serve as CBS Sports` rules expert. Anita Jones is set to provide live pitchside reports.

Behind the Scenes: The Team

Jen Calhoun and Adriana Tonelli are the producers overseeing CBS Sports` coverage of the UEFA Women`s Champions League. David Berson holds the position of President and CEO of CBS Sports. Harold Bryant is the Executive Producer and Executive Vice President of Production for CBS Sports, while Pete Radovich serves as CBS Sports` Coordinating Producer for all soccer coverage.

Expanded Partnership and Tournament Format

CBS Sports recently announced a broadcast partnership with the UWCL, set to continue until 2030. The revamped tournament structure will feature 18 clubs competing in an initial league phase, a newly introduced knockout phase playoff round, culminating in the UEFA Women`s Champions League final.

The integration of the UWCL further enriches CBS Sports` women`s soccer portfolio. Paramount+ already serves as the official platform for the NWSL Championship and select NWSL regular-season matches, the Concacaf W Champions Cup, and the Concacaf W Gold Cup. Additionally, selected Women`s Nations League matches and women`s European international friendlies are accessible across various CBS properties.

Season Kick-Off

Fans can look forward to the new, expanded coverage commencing on October 7th, when Arsenal faces OL Lyon in the opening match. This encounter marks the beginning of the journey for 18 European clubs vying for a spot in the final, set to take place at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway.
