English Premier League giant Chelsea is reportedly nearing a significant agreement on personal terms with Emanuel Emegha, the promising 22-year-old center-forward from Strasbourg. According to insights from French media outlet Sports Zone, this strategic move by the Blues is being orchestrated for a potential transfer during the summer window of next year.
Emegha has garnered considerable attention following an outstanding breakthrough season with the Alsatian club. A product of the Sparta Rotterdam youth system, his performance in Ligue 1 was remarkable, as he recorded an impressive 14 goals and three assists in just 27 appearances, showcasing his potent attacking capabilities.
Despite his relative youth, Emegha has already demonstrated leadership qualities at Strasbourg. Following the departures of Habib Diarra (to Sunderland) and Andrey Santos (returning to parent club Chelsea), Emegha was entrusted with the captain`s armband.
