Chelsea is reportedly set to significantly strengthen its attacking options under manager Enzo Maresca with the acquisition of RC Strasbourg Alsace`s promising centre-forward, Emanuel Emegha (22). According to acclaimed journalist Fabrizio Romano, a pre-agreement has already been reached between the two BlueCo-owned clubs for the Dutch U21 international to join the Premier League side in 2026.
Emegha`s impending transfer to Stamford Bridge comes as no surprise, given his impressive form since arriving at Strasbourg two years ago from Sturm Graz. The 22-year-old forward has been a key player for the Alsatians, accumulating 26 goals and five assists across 64 appearances. He has also enjoyed a powerful start to the current season, netting three goals in just four matches.
Romano further revealed that Chelsea proactively secured Emegha, anticipating considerable interest from other top Premier League and Champions League clubs next summer. The Strasbourg captain will ultimately commit to a long-term, seven-year contract with the Blues, facilitating his move between the two partner clubs under the BlueCo ownership.
