Newly promoted Cremonese is reportedly increasing their efforts to sign winger Alessio Zerbin from Napoli. The club is pushing ahead of competitors, including fellow promoted side Pisa, in the race for the player.
Previous reports indicated Cremonese`s interest in the 26-year-old player, and this interest is said to be growing. An initial approach has already been made to Napoli regarding the potential transfer.
Cremonese intends to accelerate negotiations to secure Zerbin before other Serie A clubs can finalize their bids, prioritizing the move ahead of rivals like Pisa.
Zerbin`s Desire for More Playing Time

Cremonese secured their promotion to Italy`s top flight via the play-offs this summer, joining Pisa and Sassuolo in the ascent to Serie A.
Zerbin primarily operates as a left-sided winger but possesses the versatility to play on the right flank in attack as well.
Having been at Napoli since 2017, Zerbin has spent time on loan at several clubs, including Viterbese, Cesena, Pro Vercelli, Frosinone, Monza, and Venezia.
The player himself is reportedly keen on making the move to Cremonese. Now, the two clubs must reach a final agreement to complete the transfer.
