During an interview with Sky (as reported on Gianluca Di Marzio`s website), De Bruyne observed that Napoli`s “tactics will differ” because “Conte favors a more defensive approach,” whereas his former manager Guardiola “prefers a more offensive strategy.”
Nevertheless, De Bruyne expressed no concern regarding the contrasting tactical styles, stating, “I have ample time to familiarize myself with the coach and his methodology,” noting that “we`ve only been collaborating for ten days.”
