Premier League heavyweights, Manchester United and Manchester City, are reportedly showing significant interest in Italian international goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. This development comes amid claims that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is considering selling him and is already seeking a replacement, with Lucas Chevalier being a prime candidate.
Over the past few days, numerous reports have cast serious doubt on Donnarumma`s future in France. His current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2026, and discussions to extend it with a revised wage structure have reached an impasse.
Donnarumma`s Impending PSG Exit

Reluctant to lose another top star on a free transfer, PSG`s management appears to have decided to offload the Azzurri captain this summer. This move also necessitates finding a suitable successor, with LOSC goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier emerging as the likely choice, though his transfer fee is expected to be at least €40 million.
According to L`Equipe, both Manchester United and Manchester City are actively pursuing the Italian shot-stopper. Previously, clubs like Chelsea and Galatasaray were also linked with the former Milan star, who recently played a crucial role in his team`s Champions League triumph. Should Donnarumma opt for a return to Serie A, Inter Milan and Juventus would be the most probable destinations.
