Juventus is preparing to take disciplinary action against midfielder Douglas Luiz following his unauthorized absence from the first day of pre-season training. This incident is expected to expedite his departure from the club this summer.
Reports from Fabrizio Romano and Romeo Agresti indicate that the Brazilian midfielder failed to report for pre-season on Thursday, a move that was not sanctioned by the Serie A giants.
Juventus Initiates Disciplinary Action

Douglas Luiz`s performance at the Allianz Stadium last season largely fell short of the expectations set by his €50 million transfer fee. He failed to register a single goal or assist across 27 appearances and was sidelined for 20 games due to injuries.
The midfielder struggled to secure a regular starting position under either Igor Tudor or his successor, Thiago Motta, and notably played only 45 minutes in the recent Club World Cup.
Premier League Clubs Show Interest

It appears Douglas Luiz is actively seeking a transfer away from Juventus. Several clubs in the Premier League have reportedly shown interest, and his agent is scheduled to hold meetings with potential English suitors this week.
Juventus, keen to avoid a capital loss on their investment, is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of approximately €40 million for the midfielder.
