In response to criticism of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) last week-released official hymn, “Dil Jashn Bole,” Pakistani musician Ali Zafar declared on Sunday that he will write an anthem for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023.

On his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, singer Ali Zafar announced the production of an anthem.

Ali Zafar issued a call to ‘young music composers, writers, and producers’ to display their talent and ‘make a masterpiece’.

From October 5 to November 19, 2023, India will host the World Cup, with 10 teams competing in 10 different venues. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals after 45 games of round-robin play.
