North Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas is scheduled to fly to Italy tomorrow for medical examinations, signaling his imminent return to Napoli on a loan deal with an option to buy.
Eljif Elmas is expected to finalize his return to Napoli, with the North Macedonian midfielder scheduled to fly to Italy tomorrow to undergo medical examinations. This development confirms earlier reports regarding his anticipated transfer to the Serie A club.
The agreement for Elmas reportedly involves an initial loan fee of €2 million. Napoli will also have an option to make the transfer permanent for approximately €16 million, should he impress during his spell.

Elmas Rejoining Napoli for Serie A Comeback
Earlier this summer, there was speculation that Elmas might join Torino, where the former Fenerbahce midfielder spent the latter half of last season on loan. However, Napoli, under the guidance of head coach Antonio Conte, has now opted to offer the 25-year-old a second chance in Naples.
Elmas originally left Naples in January 2024 for a reported fee of around €23 million. Since then, the midfielder has made only 22 appearances for Bundesliga side RB Leipzig across two seasons in all competitions, and is now set to make his comeback to Serie A.
