At the same time, Empoli might opt to sell Gyasi to Palermo. Palermo will be one of their competitors in Serie B next season.

Palermo (known as the Rosanero) recently submitted a significant offer for the 31-year-old player, making a potential transfer for Gyasi to the Stadio Barbera a likely outcome.

Palermo has appointed Filippo Inzaghi as their new head coach. The former striker recently took charge of the team.
