After Brook’s dismissal, Ali joined Root and he started with a flourish too but couldn’t continue for long got out when the score was 118. He made 11 facing 17 balls. New Zealand bowled really well in such humid conditions. 

All the bowlers looked economical and got wickets too. But Ravindra looked like one of the weak links in the New Zealand bowling attack. He was the only bowler who gave away many runs. Neesham bowled the last over of the England’s inning. In his 7 overs he given away 56 runs without any wicket.
