Everyone is left stunned when an ex-New Zealand star mimics Ravi Shastri’s commentary style. Famous for his animated commentary and presentation during cricket matches is the former captain of India, Ravi Shastri. Under those circumstances, it makes sense that many people want to acquire Shastri-like communication abilities. It’s not easy to mimic the former India star’s commentary style, but it appears like former New Zealand player Ian Smith has perfected it.

Smith imitated Shastri’s move to leave the latter and another former Indian player, Anjum Chopra, in splits while watching India’s Cricket World Cup match versus the Netherlands from the commentary box.

“Hello, and happy Diwali to all of you. Let’s flip a coin now. Welcome to Bengaluru. In the middle is the big Richie Richardson. Now, please listen to me, everyone,” Smith added.

India, who finished the group stage with a perfect nine wins in nine games, defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs thanks to centuries from KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.
