During Barcelona’s La Liga match against Getafe on Saturday, midfielder Fermín López marked his goal with a touching tribute to his teammate Lamine Yamal.
López, who started in the fixture, scored the opening goal just before halftime in Barcelona’s eventual 2-0 victory.
Following his composed finish, López immediately showed support for the young winger, Lamine Yamal. Yamal recently suffered a season-ending hamstring injury, a significant blow for the 18-year-old.
In a gesture of solidarity, López recreated Yamal’s signature celebration after scoring against Getafe, demonstrating his support for his sidelined teammate.
