Fiorentina is reportedly engaged in direct discussions with Inter Milan regarding a potential transfer for midfielder Kristjan Asllani. Sources in Italy indicate that Inter is open to letting Asllani depart from San Siro this summer if the conditions are favorable.
Fiorentina Pursues Asllani Amidst Midfield Search
According to recent reports, Fiorentina has intensified its efforts to secure Kristjan Asllani, with direct negotiations underway with Inter. Asllani is understood to be a key target on Stefano Pioli`s desired list of midfield additions for the current transfer window.
Fiorentina, also known as La Viola, had previously explored options such as Parma’s Adrian Bernabe, but he is said to prefer remaining with his current club for another season. Similarly, a move for Bayer Leverkusen`s Hugo Larsson was deemed too costly. Consequently, Fiorentina has focused its attention on Asllani, especially as Inter recently signed Petar Sucic, who plays a comparable role, potentially making Asllani available for transfer.

Reports from Tuesday suggest that a transfer fee of €15 million could be sufficient to persuade Inter to sanction Asllani`s sale. While Real Betis and Bologna have also shown interest in the Albanian midfielder, a move to Real Betis appears improbable, as Asllani reportedly prefers to continue his career within Serie A.
