Fiorentina is reportedly stepping up its efforts to sign Simon Sohm, the Swiss international midfielder from Parma, who has set a steep €15 million price tag for his transfer.
The 24-year-old has been a key player at the Stadio Tardini since joining from FC Zurich in October 2020 for €6.4 million, with his current contract extending until June 2027.
According to various reports, including insights from transfer specialist Matteo Moretto and Tuttomercatoweb, the Viola are making progress towards reaching an agreement.
Parma Values Sohm at €15 Million
Securing Sohm will be a significant investment for Fiorentina, as Parma insists on a transfer fee around €15 million.
While sources like Tuttomercatoweb indicate that Sohm`s representatives are keen on a move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi, discussions between the clubs are still in their preliminary stages.
Last season, Sohm was instrumental in Parma`s Serie A campaign, featuring in 37 games and scoring four goals, contributing significantly to their ability to remain in the top flight.
Known for his versatile playing style, Sohm can serve as a robust defensive midfielder as well as contribute to offensive plays with his forward runs and counter-attacking capabilities. He has earned two senior caps for the Swiss national team.
