Three prominent members of Real Madrid's first team have voluntarily shortened their summer holidays to return to pre-season training ahead of schedule. This proactive move is seen as a clear intention to make a strong initial impression on the new head coach, José Mourinho.

While the majority of Real Madrid's decorated squad has been diligently preparing for the upcoming season at Valdebebas for the past few weeks, five players were granted extended breaks due to their participation in the World Cup.

These five players, who reached the semi-finals of the tournament – namely Marc Cucurella, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Ibrahima Konaté, and Aurélien Tchouaméni – were originally scheduled to return to Madrid on Wednesday, August 12th.

However, as noted, three of these five have decided to report back earlier than expected.

Mbappé, Konaté, and Cucurella were spotted at Valdebebas this morning, a visible demonstration of their dedication to the club and their commitment to the forthcoming season.

3 Real Madrid Stars Cut Their Summer Vacations Short to Return to Training Early

A trio of members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid on Monday reported back for pre-season training ahead of schedule. This of course comes with a view to making a positive first impression on new head coach José Mourinho.

The majority of Real Madrid’s star-studded squad made their way to Valdebebas to kickstart preparations for the campaign ahead over the course of the last few weeks.

Five of Los Blancos’ players, though, were afforded extended breaks owing to their respective efforts at the World Cup.

After advancing all the way to the semi-finals of the tournament, the quintet of Marc Cucurella, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Ibrahima Konaté and Aurélien Tchouaméni were informed that they would not be required back in Madrid until this coming Wednesday, August 12th.

But as alluded to above, this did not stop three members of this group from reporting back early.

As showcased below, Mbappé, Konaté and Cucurella showed their faces at Valdebebas this morning, confirming their commitment to the cause for the season ahead in the process.
