La Liga champions Barcelona have finalized an agreement on contract terms with Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi. This development paves the way for negotiations between Barcelona and Dortmund.
The name of attacker Adeyemi has been prominent in Spanish media recently, following reports that Barcelona had identified the German international as a transfer target.
Adeyemi, known for his blistering pace, versatility, and goal-scoring ability, is viewed as an ideal addition to Hansi Flick's attacking lineup.
Last season, the 24-year-old scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 39 appearances for Dortmund.
With his contract at Signal Iduna Park set to expire in 12 months, Adeyemi has emerged as a significant summer transfer target for the Catalan club.
It appears that the winger's desire to join forces with Barcelona is mutual.

"Karim Adeyemi has agreed terms with Barcelona and has informed BVB that he only wants a move to Barça. Adeyemi's contract expires in June 2027, and he is not planning to sign a new deal.
Barcelona have submitted an official bid to BVB to secure Adeyemi now and are working to finalize the deal."
