Recent statements from the re-elected Blaugrana president, Joan Laporta, strongly suggest that these rumors hold true. When asked about Rashford's future after his loan spell during an interview with RAC1 this week (as reported by Fabrizio Romano), Laporta confirmed:
“We will make an effort—in Barcelona's best interest—to ensure Marcus Rashford remains with us beyond this season. Marcus is performing exceptionally well, contributing with both assists and goals, and we are very pleased,” Laporta stated.
