Mbappé first encountered knee problems in December, with the issue only being resolved months later in March, following treatment in Paris earlier this month. While Mbappé has denied claims that Real Madrid tested the wrong leg, he did acknowledge experiencing "frustration, anger, and worry" over the prolonged nature of the issue.
Following his treatment in Paris, it is reported that Mbappé contacted Florentino Perez to express his preference for continued care from Christophe Baudot, a medical professional from Paris whom he knew from his time at PSG, rather than relying on Real Madrid's own medical staff. This incident highlights a broader concern, as there are also reports of a long-standing lack of trust among Real Madrid players regarding the club's medical department, an issue said to have persisted for several years.
Furthermore, a similar alleged error reportedly occurred with Eduardo Camavinga. He sustained an ankle injury in early December, and an MRI scan was purportedly performed on the wrong leg. Consequently, he returned to the bench prematurely within days, only to be subsequently sidelined for an additional two weeks.
