Third Real Madrid Youngster Poised for Fulham Move Under Arbeloa
Real Madrid is reportedly preparing to let go of a third player from their first-team squad, with Premier League club Fulham being the likely destination.
Thiago Pitarch is the latest emerging talent from Real Madrid to have caught the attention of those in charge at Craven Cottage.
The past week has seen significant transfer activity between Real Madrid and Fulham dominate headlines in both Spain and England.
Following an earlier substantial agreement for striker Gonzalo García, Fulham quickly secured another deal for standout midfielder César Palacios.
If recent reports from Spain are accurate, Fulham's pursuit of Real Madrid talent may not be over yet.
According to a report from Marca, "Fulham's latest target is Thiago Pitarch. Following the 'double swoop' for Gonzalo and Palacios, the English club is now setting its sights on the young midfielder."
Discussions between the two clubs regarding midfielder Pitarch are progressing at a 'slow pace', although Arbeloa and his team are reportedly confident of reaching an agreement due to the 'full willingness' of the 18-year-old to move to London.
Pitarch made his senior debut last season under Arbeloa's management in Madrid, accumulating 16 appearances across La Liga and the Champions League.
