Turkish club Galatasaray has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 26-year-old goalkeeper currently with Paris Saint-Germain, during the upcoming summer transfer window. It is understood that the Istanbul-based team has already made a formal offer in an attempt to secure the services of the Italian international.
Donnarumma`s current agreement at Parc des Princes is due to expire in 2026. The absence of a new contract deal with the reigning UEFA Champions League victors has attracted attention from various top European clubs, including notable English giants like Chelsea and Manchester City, who have also been linked with the talented 26-year-old shot-stopper.
Galatasaray aims to capitalize on this contract situation. Following the sale of their training facilities, the Turkish Super League side is reportedly in a strong financial position to present the former AC Milan goalkeeper with a substantial salary package. Nevertheless, sources indicate that Donnarumma`s primary focus remains on extending his current contract with PSG, expressing a desire to continue his career in the French capital.
