Good Start for Bangladesh after Initial Pressure from the Indian Bowlers in the ICC World Cup 2023

Ind vs Ban is a crucial match for both teams. India wants to get near to the Semi-Finals one step more and  Bangladesh wants to alive their hopes for the Semi-Finals too. Early on Indian bowlers exerted too much pressure on the Bangladeshi batters. At one stage they were 10 runs in the 5th over of the inning.

After 5 overs, Bangladesh batters changed their gears. Tanzid and Das went after every Indian bowler. The next 5 overs were very expensive for the Indian bowlers. They conceded around 50 runs and Bangladesh at the end of the first powerplay was 63 for no wicket.

Tanzid Hasan scored a great 50 against India only facing 41 balls. His inning consists of 5 fours and 3 sixes. His strike rate was over 100 which helped Bangladesh maintain pressure on Indian bowlers. Litton Das is also playing well to contribute to his team.

The bad news for India, Hardik Pandya got injured while bowling. He injured his left ankle while trying to stop a ball on his bowling. He has been taken for scans. Hope he should continue from the next match against New Zealand.
